Una historia de Girón es un cómic de temática histórica. La Invasión a Playa Girón fue un suceso que unió al pueblo cubano. La defensa fue llevada a cabo por milicianos y hombres y mujeres de cualquier índole social y laboral, preparados para este tipo de eventos. En este libro se narra específicamente la historia de un pelotón y los hechos ocurridos donde lo protagonizan dos hombres que integran este grupo, Juan y Roberto.
