Photojournalist who for five decades has contributed images of historical, political, social, cultural and artistic significance to national and international publications. He studied in a correspondence course at the New York Institute of Photography and has participated in numerous workshops to improve photographic techniques. He carried out his work in the newspapers Revolución and Granma, of which he was the founder. He has done press coverage and presentations in various countries. He is a member of the photography section of the Association of Plastic Arts of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and of the Union of Journalists of Cuba.

Doctor of Science on Art at the Higher Institute of Art. She is a journalist specialized in cultural issues in Bohemia magazine, Radio Progreso and television spaces. She is a member of the Association of Cinema, Radio and Television of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac). She chairs the Culture Circle of the Union of Cuban Journalists (Upec). She is a professor of Cultural Journalism. She has received awards for Cultural Journalism (interviews and comments), short stories and police novels. She gave a workshop on Audiovisual Semiotics at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (2007) and attended the IV Ibero-American Congress of Culture, in Mar del Plata, Argentina, (2011) as a delegate.
