Mario Mencía

He was born in 1931, since 1981 he was a researcher and adviser on the History of the Council of State in the offices of the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba. Adjunct Professor at the University of Havana. The inclination for historical literature began when he was studying Political Science in the 1960s, from this moment he began to write history works in the Revista Universidad de La Habana and in the newspaper Juventud Rebelde, before finishing his degree, he became interested in the guerrilla movements of liberation, which under the influence of the Cuban Revolution, took place in Latin America. This essayist devoted his time to bringing to light the truth about the Cuban revolution, through his journalistic, historical and political articles.
