Raúl Roa García

Cuban writer, polemicist, professor, historian, politician and diplomat. He was a revolutionary fighter during significant moments of the first half of the 20th century and later, for the dignity of Cuba and Latin America. He owns an extensive literary and journalistic work. History of social doctrines is his most important historiographical contribution. Appointed to the triumph of the Cuban Revolution as Ambassador of Cuba before the Organization of American States, and later, Minister of Foreign Affairs. His long and intense performance at the head of revolutionary diplomacy, and his crucial battles at the headquarters of international organizations in defense of the sovereignty of Cuba earned him the name Chancellor of Dignity.
