Anselmo Suárez y Romero

Renowned Cuban writer and novelist. He stands out for the publication of novels, educational and legal articles, and literary criticism. In 1838 he wrote Francis, the Talent, or the Delicacies of the Countryside, a novel in which he described the horrors of slavery.
