Daisy Pilar Martín Ciriano

Researcher and narrator. Graduated as a Primary Education teacher and as a Basic Secondary teacher at the Instituto Superior Educacional (ISE) of Cabaiguán in 1976 and 1982, respectively; and a Bachelor's Degree in History and Social Sciences at the "Silverio Blanco Núñez" Higher Pedagogical Institute in 1988. She has worked as a primary school teacher and teaching secretary (1973-1989); since that date she has worked as a museologist and researcher at the General Municipal Museum. She has also been a part-time professor at the Municipal University Branch (FUM), with the teaching category of Assistant Professor and has taught postgraduate courses on local history. She is an Associate Researcher at the Center for Research and Development of Cuban Culture Juan Marinello. She is a member of the National Union of Historians of Cuba (UNHIC), the José Martí Cultural Society, the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC), and the Commander Faustino Pérez Hernández Chair of Studies.
