Aquiles Nazoa González

Venezuelan writer, journalist, poet and humorist, whose work projects the values of Venezuelan popular culture. He was director of the Verbo Democrático publication of Puerto Cabello (Venezuela) and Zig–Zag (Cuba); He founded humorous organs such as La Pava Macha, El Tocador de Señoras and others. He received, among other awards, the National Journalism Award in the specialty of humorous and costumbristas writers (1948), the Municipal Literature Award of the Federal District (1967), Award for the best published book.
