Juan Carlos Hernández Rodríguez

Master in Nursing Sciences, he has taught the subjects of Cultural Anthropology and Aesthetics at the Marta Abreu Central University of Las Villas, Cuba. He was Head of Department of the Faculty of Psychology of Santa Clara (2005-2007). And he has been Deputy Director of the Museum of Parrandas. He has received numerous national awards, and in 2012 he published, in co-authorship with Erick González Bello, the book “El europeísmo en las parrandas remedianas”, and then a dozen scientific essays with Editorial Capiro, the National Council of Cultural Heritage and Editorial Académica Española. His articles have appeared in the magazines Islas, Signos, Umbral and Del Caribe.
