Josefina Toledo Benedit

Historian, essayist and narrator. Her investigations, fundamentally related to science and technology in José Martí, are a substantial contribution to the knowledge of the work of the National Hero. She has also studied other figures in Cuban and Caribbean history, some linked to the action and thought of the Master. She was President of the jury of the literary contest convened in San Germán, Puerto Rico, in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, during the Lola Rodríguez de Tió Cultural Day. She is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and the Cuban Society of History of Science and Technology.
