Juán Padrón

Cuban cartoonist, cartoon maker, illustrator, cartoonist, screenwriter and film director, graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from the University of Havana. His first drawing works appeared in the magazine Mella and later in El Sable, a supplement of the magazine Juventud Rebelde. Elpidio Valdés, his most famous character, appears for the first time in Pioneer magazine in 1970. Deceased in 2020
